The Foundation Board of Trustees is made up of a wide range of Raytown community people, including employees and retirees of the school district. We are dedicated to supporting our school district and are working hard to build the Foundation so that it can be an even greater resource for Raytown children.
We focus on helping students reach beyond the expected in their academic goals and dreams through projects, scholarships and student incentives not possible through traditional education funding.
Such initiatives begin as early as preschool with funding for innovative classroom projects and incentives for the youngest students in preschool and elementary, reaching into the secondary levels. Support for students continues beyond high school via scholarships for college and/or technical/vocational career institutions.
The Foundation currently manages more than $8,000 in post high school scholarships, as well as grants/incentives programs, to meet the Foundation's Vision Statement.
- Raytown C-2 students will have opportunities and experiences
that will prepare them to be contributing members in the community.
The Foundation awards teacher grants totaling over $10,000 annually to fulfill the Foundation's Mission Statement.
